I've felt like I'm taking a math test where a short story ...

I'm two chapters into reading this and as am introduction and am thoroughly confused. As someone else mentioned there are quite a few grammatical errors. Amazingly the first one I caught was in the dedication. How? Who edited this book?
The chapter questions are often presented prior to the material being asked and more often the questions are almost always about something not actually discussed specifically in the book. As an example the book shows in one of its questions a star map and asks the reader/student to identify the constellation and then tell you it's second brightest star. Prior to this question it has never shown you the constellation but a quick review on Google reveals it's Pisces but that it's being depicted reverse or inverted versus most(all I found) photographs and art of Pisces. The second problem is that the second brightest star is actually not depicted on the illustration shown in the book. According to all references I could find outside the book since up till this point the constellation has not been discussed reveal the second brightest star is Gamma Piscium but it's not even in the illustration. Further the answer key reveals it to be the brightest star which is just odd because then what would the author have truly considered the brightest star? This and other questions will go unanswered.
I'm very frustrated. Cant believe I'm being tested on this book that seems to contradict most astronomical information I'm finding elsewhere and seems poorly put together since the questions within don't seem to align with the material presented.
I've felt like I'm taking a math test where a short story given does not provide the information to answer factual questions.
